Hello,

My Name Is Torsten you might know me by Nintorstendo or Nin for short. I wanted to share a bit about my channel and why I started YouTube.

I have wanted to do YouTube since I was 13 years old so at that age I created my YouTube channel. I posted my first 6 videos and did not get much traction but instead of getting discouraged and quit I made it my goal to learn everything I would need to know before I start to post again. I spent 6 years studying how to do YouTube and what I would need to be able to create content and in 2020 I was ready.

Even though I spent so much time learning about YouTube, making content and learning how to make content are two different things. I uploaded my first videos and I actually got some traction I felt good because all my years of research paid off. I still have lots to learn and lots have changed since my very very first videos. 

One of my favorite changes through the years is my YouTube name it took me many name attempts until I got to the one that fits best. I would like to explain my name to those who don't know what it means it is taking one of my passions video games specifically Nintendo in this instance but I enjoy all video games and my name Torsten and mashing them up to get Nin-Torsten-do pronounced like this (Nin-Tors-Tendo). 

Why did I Start YouTube? Throughout the years countless YouTubers have been there for me when I have had to go through some difficult times and I wanted to provide that to other people because life can get tough and stressful and I want to provide a little bit of an escape to relax, de-stress, and most importantly have fun.

The content I like to post on YouTube is the creative side of video games showing off an indie game I found, covering a new game, or taking a look at some of the classics. I believe there is some content for video game enthusiasts of all types. I also like to connect with my subscribers and play games with you on live streams and with that being said you might want to check out my channel because I might be live now and will be glad you showed up.
